At the Table Nutrition and its founder Colleen McGuire bring a vast amount of experience to the table.
In addition to extensive experience in personal nutrition counselling, both privately and in the hospital outpatient setting, hundreds of presentations and extensive nutrition analysis, At the Table has been involved in contracts with health authorities, government agencies, and community partners.
These contracts have included project management, strategic planning, curriculum development, menu development, nutrition analysis and redesign as well as extensive development of nutrition education materials and resources, event planning and organization, program planning and evaluation and community development.
At the Table and Colleen bring all of these experiences into play in the services that they offer. Some of the most interesting projects are outlined below.

Nutrition strategies for healthy living for Karen Refugees (living in Langley BC) and Afghan Refugees (living in Burnaby BC)
Nutrition strategy to model healthy foods served in temples and at home for the South Asian population
Nutrition education in community centers and Thrifty Food Store shopping tours across BC, including the development of education resources for the seminars and shopping tours (In June of 2010, this program Nutrition for You received a regional award from Dietitians of Canada: The Speaking of Food & Healthy Living Award for Excellence in Consumer Education.)
